We arrived at the hotel around 3 after a layover in ATL and an hour delay due to some mechanical issue. We had dinner with Rich and Jen and David and Blair at this awesome restaurant right on the ocean! The food was great, the location was perfect and the company was wonderful. Then, we headed back to the hotel for a few drinks with the bride and groom-to-be. It was an interesting crowd at the hot
el bar! It was totally "Cougar Thursday" with a DJ and all kinds of older women dressed in some pretty revealing outfits, but we had a great time hanging out and catching up!
Self-Portrait (haven't done that in a while!!!)

Friday, we had lunch with all the guys at this yummy Mexican restaurant and then we headed back to the hotel to get ready for the rehearsal dinner. Another wonderful meal at Savannah's steakhouse. We were all stuffed, and then headed back to the hotel for more cocktails. Friday night, they had a band which was ok, so a couple of the guys decided to sing karoke!
Saturday morning, I had breakfast with Blair and David at Ruby's in Huntington Beach RIGHT on the end of pier. It was almost like we were eating in the middle of the ocean, and I was completely amazed by all the surfers!!! It was not as warm as the day before unfortunately, and somewhat overcast all day long. The wedding was beautiful and the reception cocktail hour was moved inside thank goodness! Dinner was great and the dancing was my favorite part of the evening! The DJ was great...he played a good mix of old school dance songs, as well as the best of the new stuff and not much slow stuff. The mother of the groom was AWESOME! SHe was out there dancing almost the whole time, it was great. It was really fun to see all the guys again and hang out with their wives, girlfriends, etc.
The whole Michigan crew.
Sunday night we got back SUPER late since we had a 3 hour layover in ATL. It was so great to see the girls and I swear Alison looked like she had grown about 2 inches! Lauren gave us both HUGE hugs and smiles on Monday morning, as did Alison. I know they both had a great time with Nana, Papa and Mum Mum and we are so appreciative of their help!
Congrats to Shannon and Steve, who are enjoying lovely Fiji as we speak!!!
