We got a treat this weekend....a visit from Uncle David! He took the redeye Thursday night, so he arrived right around breakfast time on Friday. Lauren was happy to see him and they started playing Go Fish and then Uncle David had to take a nap. Then, we all headed to the park and Lauren had a great time with Uncle David in the swings, on the see-saw and running the bases at the baseball field (I can't upload the video, but will try again tomorrow)! And Alison LOVES to swing. Then, we came home and had some lunch and Uncle David took another nap (he was on Alison's nap schedule), and then Lauren discovered his iPad (which is pretty cool), and she convinced him to download the cupcake game, and she can make a dozen cupcakes instead of just 4 like on the iTouch! And she also discovered this Carl game that is this little dude that repeats everything you say...she played that for at least 10 minutes. I told her at bedtime that the cost of playing the iPad was a big hug and kiss, so she gave Uncle David a great hug and kiss on the cheek. So cute!!! David went to a wedding on Saturday and came back this afternoon, so Lauren was happy to see him and his iPad again! Tomorrow we are heading to DC to go to see Rebecca!
