Lauren's good friend Sophie turned 6 last week, so she had her birthday party last weekend. It was a hot, sunny day so it was perfect to play in the sprinklers, then have some pizza and ice cream and get their faces painted by Sophie's mom (who did an awesome job!) Lauren, of course, got the same design as Sophie, and she looked so cute! Her's our madame butterfly with the birthday girl! They had a real pinata (the only other ones Lauren has seen are the ones with the pull strings), and she was completely uninterested in hitting it! It was funny because Lauren and one of our other neighbors were the only two three year olds at the party (everyone else was either 6 or 10), and they were both just sitting there eating their pizza while the bigger kids were taking turns hitting the pinata.
