Yesterday, it was a nice day and we went to the zoo with some friends! It wasn't as warm as it has been the past two days, but it wasn't too bad and it was actually perfect because all the animals were out and pretty active. Alison was SO good....she was in the Baby Bjorn the whole time, and she loved it, she was kicking and babbling away all throughout the zoo. The only time she cried was when I attempted to put her in the stroller. She's not quite ready for that yet even though she can sit up really well...the view from the Bjorn is definitely better. My back is not as sore as I expected either, so that's good. And it worked out because then Lauren could ride whenever she wanted. She definitely walked more than she rode in the stroller but she got tired at the end. We saw lots of animals. My favorite thing was seeing the polar bear swimming...it's so funny to see such a big animal swimming in the water. The train wasn't running yet and we didn't do the carousel, but I think it was running. They have a neat little children's zoo where you can drive a tractor, feed the ducks and pet goats.
She and Connor were SO adorable! At one point, Connor walked up to Lauren and said "Let's hold hands," so she took his hand and from then on, they were holding hands almost the whole time, it was so cute! They just took each other's hands and ran off. And Lauren went over to Connor's house after the zoo for a couple of hours, and when she left, she gave him a big hug and said "I Love you, Connor." I can't believe at three she already has her first boyfriend!!!

They definitely had a blast together. Connor is going to really miss Lauren when you guys go on your trip. Hopefully when you get back the warmer weather will return and we can get out to the parks. See you Sunday at church if you are going.
