We had a great visit with Nana and Papa to have Christmas Phase 2! They arrived around 2:00 on Wednesday afternoon, and then we had adult gift opening on Wednesday night after the girls went to bed, and then the girls opened their gifts on Thursday morning. Lauren loved her Halloween outfit for Victoria (actually for Abby, but thank goodness the clothes fit both of them!). Nana and Papa baby-sat the girls on Thursday night so Brad and I could go out with some friends (thank you!), and we stayed out much later than we should have, but it was a good time! Friday we celebrated the new year by watching lots of football of course and eating a fondue dinner. Saturday, Brad put in a new backsplash that looks awesome and we went out for pizza! Lauren and Alison had a great time playing with Nana and Papa. Lauren got to show off her wardrobe since she changed clothes at least twice every day, and Alison chatted with Nana and Papa and showed off her best taradactle (I have no idea how to spell that, but some sort of dinosaur) impression! We are glad they made it back safely in the snow today.
