Alison is getting so big and so much more social this month! She is always watching Lauren, and she LOVES to watch Lauren and her friends play. She is completely enthralled and focused when she can watch the "big" kids play. She is quick to smile when you talk to her, and she is SO close to laughing...she has laughed out loud at Lauren a couple of times and I can get her to giggle every once in a while if I tickle her tummy or kiss her cheeks. She is such a sweet and cuddly baby and very curious and alert!
She eats about 5-6 times per day, and she still gets up once almost every night, usually around 3 AM. I gave her rice cereal a couple of times last week, so hopefully getting a little more to eat during the day will help her sleep more at night. Another problem is that sometimes she gets her right arm stuck in the sleeve of her clothes and then she can't get to her right thumb which is the way she comforts herself to sleep! She is definitely a thumb sucker and she also loves to put her whole hand in her mouth. She loves to play with her Sophie the Giraffe and her paper and her plastic keys. She has started to have a great time in the exersaucer and she loves to spin the little thing that has beads in it because I think she likes the noise that it makes. She also loves to play with her feet which is really cute!
