We headed down to Ocean City today, and it was great!! The weather was perfect and the kids had a good time in the water and on the beach. As soon as we got there, all the Carlson kids went straight out into the water and Lauren wasn't so sure about getting her feet wet. So, she found a bucket and was having a great time playing in the sand with her bucket and shovel. Then, Brad and Papa were playing the paddle game and Lauren, Nana and Annabelle were playing in the sand. Lauren, Gabe and Ben had fun playing soccer with the volleyball. It was so cool to watch Lauren enjoying the beach! I wish we could take advantage of it more often.
After we got all packed up, we had some lunch on the boardwalk and then gelato. Lauren was SO messy with the gelato because she had it in a cup and it melted so fast! But she enjoyed it!
We are all pretty tired tonight after a great day at the beach!
