Happy 3rd Birthday, Alison!!!

Our little Alison is three!  We had a great time celebrating her birthday.  When she woke up, she was greeted by a Happy Birthday princess balloon, followed by her favorite breakfast Pancakes!!  We had fun playing and then went to dinner at Red Robin with our family and Mum Mum.  She wasn't so sure what to think of all the servers singing to her, but she loved her ice cream and she was so nice to share some with her big sister!
Aunt Anne, Uncle Charlie, Christian and Andi came over to wish that big girl a happy birthday!  The girls, Andi and Christian were playing down in the basement and accidentally popped Alison's elbow our of socket, so off we went to the ER to fix her nursemaid's elbow for the 4th time!  (We told her that the next time someone tried to do that, to tell them that her arms are fragile.)  The bonus for her was that she got to spend the last two hours of her birthday with mommy and daddy's undivided attention.

She was pretty cute, everytime someone said Happy Birthday to her, she said "Happy Birthday," because she didn't know how else to respond!

Here are her stats:
29 lb (50th percentile)
39" (85th percentile)
And the doctor said she looks great and is doing everything she should be doing.

Alison is such a sweet girl and she always makes us laugh with her interpretation of things.  She loves to wear headbands and dresses and changes clothes about three times a day (although for the past two days, she has worn a shirt and pants, maybe her dress phase is over!).  She loves to dance, listen to music, do gymnastics, eat chocolate and play with her big sister.  Her favorite buddy is still her brown-eyed baby, and her favorite princess is Rapunzel.  She loves pink and anything girly and she especially loves her thumb!!!   She has become a great swimmer in the past month, she just jumps right in with her floaties on, kicks her legs and off she goes!

We are so excited for her to start preschool next month. She had a great time at camp a couple of weeks ago, so I think she's going to love it.

WE love you, Alison!  Here's to a great year as a big three year old!!
