Vacation for David and Blair's Wedding

We took a 10 day trek down to Nashville to celebrate for David and Blair's wedding, and it was so much fun!  We got to see a lot of people along the way, and we all had a fabulous time at the wedding!

We left on Friday afternoon around lunchtime, heading for Wheeling, WV!  We made great time and got to Laura, Adam and Grace's house around dinner time.  Grace, Lauren and Alison had a great time playing and exploring!  I love how they just pick up right where they left off and start playing!   They also had a great time playing tent in the crib where Alison slept.  The big girls had a little trouble getting settled down for bedtime, but they finally fell asleep and it was great to catch up with the Mulls!

Saturday, we headed out to Cincinnati to see the McConnells the Fossitts and Jen LeCrone!  It was definitely too short of a visit and both Lauren and Alison were pretty tired, but it was good to see all the girls playing together!  Alison was so ready to get out of the carseat for the last 20 minutes, she screamed and I was afraid she wasn't going to let me put her down the whole time we were there, but she just started playing as soon as we got there.  We headed down to Louisville from there, and had dinner out with Anne and Charlie while mom kept the girls, so that was nice!

Sunday, Charlie gave us a tour of Louisville and Brad was supposed to leave Sunday night, but his flight was cancelled so we got to have him for one more night!  He got up super early on Monday morning and headed back to Philly.  The girls, Mum Mum, Anne and I went to the pool on Monday, which was fun and Lauren was excited to show off her swimming skills!  Uncle Bob came over for dinner on Monday night and the girls had such a great time with him...he was swinging them all around, and it was so fun to hear them laughing and having fun!

Tuesday, we headed out for Nashville and we arrived around 12:30 Nashville time.  The girls were so excited to see Granddaddy and Grandma Connie!!  Alison took a nap and Lauren played some cards with Granddaddy.  We headed over to have dinner with Elizabeth, Allen and Austin, and it was so great to see them!  The girls had so much fun playing with Austin's toys, they were great.  And Alison loved their dog, Annabelle.  They put her in her cage because Lauren doesn't really like dogs to jump on her, so Alison kept going in to check on her, it was pretty cute.

Wednesday, everyone slept in since we were up kinda late the night before, and we got ready and went to meet GeGe and Judy at the Puffy Muffin for lunch, and it was SO busy there!  We had to wait about 30 minutes to get a table and then almost everything on the menu had eggs in it, so we finally ordered and the food came after we had been sitting about 30 minutes, so needless to say, the girls got a little restless, but they did surprisingly well for a 2 hour lunch!!  Alison was ready for her nap when we got home and Lauren and I went to get our nails.  Lauren discovered the massage chair, and she was loving that!  It was pretty funny!  We went out for dinner Wednesday night and then we went back to Elizabeth's house and I got to see her mom, which was great to see her!  The girls were good, but tired!

Thursday, we just had a lazy day at Granddaddy's house which was great.
