Yesterday, Alison turned 2!!!  She was very excited when Brad and I sang Happy Birthday to her in her bed right after she woke up.  We all got up and ate breakfast (she LOVES this egg free pancakes that Brad made!), and then she opened a few presents.  She loved her little shopping cart that we got her that has a little car on the front for her baby.  Although, when she first saw it, she was ready to climb in herself!  She was pushing it all over the place.  She got several other Minnies that she loves.  We all got dressed and then we headed to the Garden State Discovery Musuem, which was really fun!  (And Alison got in for free because it was her birthday.)  The girls had so much fun playing and running around.  The favorite things were definitely the kitchen and and the diner and the stage area where they had dress-up clothes.  Alison had a great time putting everything she could find in the kitchen into the oven, and Lauren had a great time pretending to be our waitress.  The stage area was new since the last time we were there, and I knew Lauren would love to perform on that stage!  And Alison had a great time climbing up and down the steps.

We tried to go to the Pop Shop for lunch, but it was too crowded, so we opted for PJ's instead and then came home and relaxed.  After Alison woke up from her nap, she opened the rest of her gifts.  She LOVED the big Minnie that she got, and also her flip-flops!  Sophie and Emma came over to have cake and help us sing to the birthday girl.  I made cupcakes with a can of Sprite in place of the egg and water. They were pretty good, but very crumbly.  Alison was so funny when we were singing, she didn't know what to do, so she just sat there with her thumb in her mouth looking around at all of us.  Then, she wouldn't take her thumb out to blow out the candle, so Brad helped her a little bit.  She had a great time playing with Emma & Sophie and Lauren after the cupcakes.

We had pizza for dinner, per the birthday girl's request!  All in all, I think she had a great day!  We all had a great time celebrating with her!
