So, my dad and Connie came a couple of weeks after Nana & Papa, so the grandparent's tour continues! They came up a few days early for the celebration of Rebecca's PhD graduation from University of Maryland. The girls were excited to see them. They arrived while Alison was asleep and Lauren was ready to play as soon as they walked in the door! They all sat down and colored some beautiful pictures for quite a while. The visit was short, but we had a great time seeing them!
The four Scheiners headed down to DC on Friday morning with Granddaddy and Grandma Connie not too far behind. We made great time and got to the hotel, did a quick change and we were off to the graduation. Brad & Alison stayed behind so she could take a nap. It was an adventure getting to the graduation. Mom, Anne, Lauren & I drove to this parking garage and then took a shuttle bus to the graduation, so we were a little late, which was ok because I don't think Lauren would have lasted through the entire ceremony! There were several speeches and then the presentation of the diplomas. Lauren drew on the program for a while and then she was climbing up and down the steps and then she took her shoes off, but at least she was quiet!

We went back to the hotel for a little bit, ate a little something, changed clothes and then headed down to the party. The party was really fun and the food was great! The girls were having such a great time running back and forth and hanging out with all the family who were there and eating a little bit. It's a preview for my brother's wedding this summer! They were great and they had a really good time. I was so surprised that neither one of them had a total wipeout or anything. Mum Mum put Lauren to bed so Brad and I could go back out and meet up with Rebecca and Katie and Rebecca's friends. I think Lauren and Anne had a few adventures...they went down to the lobby and had some M&M's and then Lauren left her bunny in the booth so Anne had to go back and get it! What fun!

Saturday morning, we got up and had some breakfast with Granddaddy and Connie before they got on the road back to Nashville and then we went to the farmer's market for a little bit and then headed back to Jersey.
Mum Mum came back with us and stayed for a couple of days. She helped us plant our flower boxes and some flowers in the backyard! Lauren loves to help Mum Mum with planting.

It was such a great time to see everyone! And we are so proud of Dr. Rebecca Lewis! We will definitely miss her when she moves to Tallahassee!
