We had a great Easter weekend!  Brad was off on Friday, and it was pretty cold, so we just hung out around the house and Saturday it was raining, so we had another nice day at home.  Lauren, Brad and I decorated eggs while Alison was sleeping, and then Lauren and I made some jello-jiggler Easter shapes and decorated them with icing.  They were really cute, but didn't taste so great, but Lauren had a great time decorating them! Brad and I went out for Chipotle on Saturday night which was SO yummy!!

Sunday was a beautiful day, finally!  The Easter bunny left some eggs hidden around the house for the girls.  I was surprised at how quickly Alison picked up putting the eggs in her basket!  After the first egg, she would see an egg and say "egg!" and drop everything to run over and put it in her basket.  She figured out pretty quickly that there was candy inside, and she LOVED the jellybeans!  The Easter bunny brought the girls each a few things...Alison loved her Olivia doll and Lauren was excited about her "Tangled" movie and her clipboard so she could be "just like Daddy."

We went to church and it was a nice service and then we came home and changed clothes and played outside.  We had a yummy Easter dinner of ham, corn pudding, pineapple stuffing and asparagus.  Lauren fell asleep on the couch at 5:30 and then woke up around 8 and came downstairs and said "Good Morning!"

The girls looked beautiful in their blue and white dresses.  And Lauren loved her Easter shoes (with heels) so much that she has worn them for the past two days as well.
