Halloween 2010

This entry is timely, hard to believe, right! :)

Anyways, we had a great Halloween this year, although Alison has been sick for the past couple of days and today we think she had an allergic reaction to amoxycillin, but tonight she seemed to be more herself, which makes me a happy mama!

We carved our pumpkins yesterday morning, and Brad did an awesome job! He did a princess, a glass slipper and a happy pumpkin.

Today, one of our neighbors had a pre-Halloween party, so Lauren and I went over there for a bit. They had a little parade, and played a few games, one of which was a donut race, kind of like bobbing for apples, but with donuts hanging on a string instead. Then, we came home and relaxed a little bit, had a quick dinner and then got ready for trick or treating. Lauren was Jessie from Toy Story, and Alison was a little butterfly princess. They both looked SO adorable! Alison & I went around the block and then came back here to hand out candy while Brad & Lauren continued on with some of the neighbors. Brad said Lauren did great and she did a great job keeping up with the big kids. She was SO happy with all the candy she got when they got back. Alison was having fun watching all the kids outside and seeing all the kids when they came to the door while eating a blue lollipop. Lauren dumped out all of her candy and she was the most excited about all the nerds she got, and Alison was just picking up all the lollipops and trying to eat them with the wrappers on them. (And I am so proud of myself, we only have about 10 pieces of candy left this year! YEAH!!! Less temptation for me!)

Hard to believe in less than a month, it will be Thanksgiving! Hope you all had a great Halloween!!!
