Alison's Dedication

Our church has been doing a series about parenting for the past three Sundays, and the final service included a baby dedication, so we decided to have Alison dedicated.  It was cool because we got to have the girls sit in the service with us, and they actually did pretty well.  I am not sure they were listening to the message, but it was a good one.  The three essential things pre-schoolers need to know are that God made you, God Loves you, and Jesus wants to be your friend.  It was pretty funny because we were sitting there, and Alison said "It's Mr. Mark," which is what she calls our pastor, Mark Barnish.  It was a very nice service and there were 8 other young children dedicated along with Alison.

Afterwards, we went over to my good friend Kelly's house for lunch.  Her daughter, Meghan, was dedicated as well.  It was a beautiful day!
