We had a great weekend last weekend...it was the first weekend in a couple of weeks where we were all together! Friday, Connor and Mara came over for the afternoon. Lauren & Connor played really well together while Alison and Mara napped. And they had a great time playing catch in the backyard when Brad got home.
Saturday, Brad was able to take the computer to the Apple store and get the memory card out (thank goodness! They told Brad I was "dangerous.") And then in the afternoon, we headed down to Ocean City for Tyson and Sullivan's birthday party on the boardwalk! It was at the Castaway Cove play area. Lauren had a GREAT time!! She said her favorite rides were the roller coaster and the balloons! We also did the ferris wheel, the carousel, the antique cars, a little water ride and a couple of little kid rides that Lauren did by herself! We were so proud of her because she just got on the rides and was happy to be riding them like a big girl. The look on her face when she was on the roller coaster was a look of pure joy that I will not forget! She rode once with me and twice with Brad. After 2 hours of rides, we had pizza, ice cream and cupcakes, which was perfect! Lauren and I went and walked on the beach and dipped our toes in the ocean and then we headed back home. And little Alison was happy in her stroller the whole time, she had some much to look at. And she is also getting very good at eating Cheerios out of the snack trap, so that kept her occupied for quite a while as well! It was a great afternoon together as a family with some good friends, too!
Sunday, Brad played baseball in the morning and then he came home and we all ate lunch together. He opened his gift (a scale that he asked for!) and then we just hung out for the afternoon.
Hopefully this week we will be able to go to the pool! I am nervous about taking both girls by myself, but I know a lot of people who belong to the pool, so hopefully we will be all good! It has been so hot, I think it will be super refreshing.

Thanks again for taking the kids basically all day. That pic of Connor and Lauren is great. Today we were on our way home from my friend's house and it was close to 3:30 and Connor was still raring to go and asked if he could play with Lauren, so I told him next week and he said okay. So if she wants to do a playdate let me know. My ultrasound went great, all going and grwoing as it should.
