I was brave and took both of the girls for their check-ups on Friday....Lauren for her 3 year check-up and Alison for her 4 month check-up. The doctor said they both are doing great and are where they should be. She was even asking Lauren some of the questions! Lauren was very concerned about who was going first, so I told her to ask the doctor when she came in, so the second the doctor walked in the room she said "Who is going first, me or Alison?"
They each got shots: 3 for Lauren and 4 for Alison. About 30 seconds before the nurse walked in with the shots, Lauren slipped on the floor and hit her head on the edge of the chair, so she was crying before she even got her shots! She did fine until the H1N1 vaccine, and then she cried pretty hard. It is so hard when babies get shots, Alison started cyring after the first shot, and so did I and then Lauren started to cry! But we all calmed down pretty quickly.
All in all, it wasn't too bad...it just took almost 2 hours!
