Drew at 18 months

Wow, is Drew one busy boy at 18 months!  We went to the doctor yesterday, and here are his stats:
25.2 lbs
31 3/4 inches

He is talking so much!  He says Mommy, Dada, bus, ball, baby, bath, bye bye, hi, no, nose, eyes, dog and I am sure more that I can't think of right now.  He loves to play with his cars, balls, and anything outside.  He has just started trying to climb the stairs holding onto the railing, which makes me a nervous wreck.

He is Elmo-obsessed, and he says Elmo whenever he sees something red, and he also likes Peppa Pig.  If you ask him what Peppa Pig says, he says "AHHHH!"  Hilarious!

He loves his monkey and his paci, which we keep in his bed most of the time, but as soon as he goes upstairs for any reason, he goes right to his bed to get them!  And he can't have one without the other unless we are in the car, and then the paci is ok.

He loves his Daddy so much, as soon as he sees him, he says "Dada, Dada, Dada!"  So sweet and he loves his sisters as well.  When he sees them after school, he goes right up to them and gives them big hugs.  And he loves his Mommy, too, he's always excited to see me when I pick him up!

He's a social kid, he loves to be around other kids.  He is always so happy when I pick him up after BSF on Wednesdays or on Sundays after church.  And he is always waving and saying hi to people when we are out running errands or dropping Alison off at school.

He also loves dogs.  When we go to the park or play outside and he sees a dog, he says "Dog, dog, dog" and he wants to run over and see the dog.  He is just recently the same way with Babies.  He is very curious about babies.

We had a scare with croup last week and had to be admitted to Kosair for about 8 hours.  He woke up with that scary cough, and I took him to Kosair ER and they gave him one breathing treatment and some steroids, and then we stayed for 2 hours for observation.  He still wasn't better, so they gave him another breathing treatment and had to admit him, which meant an ambulance ride to Kosair downtown.  (That was my first and hopefully last ambulance ride!)  He was pretty good once we got downtown and we were all happy when they discharged us!  I am so thankful that the girls were in good hands while we had Drew in the hospital!
