Drew is ONE!!

Andrew Robert Scheiner is ONE!!!  He is a sweet boy who loves his family, especially his daddy, playing with balls, playing with markers, going for walks, eating, and exploring.

And Granddaddy made a football field on our table, exact dimensions of course!

He is starting to learn to walk and takes a few steps here and there, and he says ball, bus, mama, dada, hi.  He can make a dog sound and knows how to leave his paci in his bed after he wakes up.  He loves to dance and whenever he hears the Michigan fight song, he starts kicking his legs and waving his arms and gets really excited, and then does "touchdown!"

We had a party for him on his actual birthday, a football theme of course since Michigan was playing!  Papa came down from Michigan, Granddaddy and Grandma Connie came up for Nashville, Aunt Anne, Uncle Charlie, Mum Mum, Uncle Bob, Aunt Glen, and even Rebecca were here as well!  And we had a couple of neighbors with kids around Drew's age as well.  It was a fun day!!  The birthday boy loved his chair and his sports toy!  Lauren, Alison and Morgan had more fun opening the presents than Drew did, (Christmas should be interesting around here!)

Lauren set up a little "photo booth" for people to take pictures with silly props, but it was pretty last minute, so we only got a few photos, but they were pretty cute.

Drew was not so sure what to think of the cake at first...he got the icing all over his hands and then he did not like that at all, but once we wiped his hands off and gave him a fork, he totally dug in!  We shall see if he turns out to be a chocaholic like Alison.
