In the beginning of June, the girls and I went to pick strawberries. We went to a new farm not too far from home, and the strawberries were so good! Alison did not get a single strawberry into her bucket, she ate them immediately. I think the first couple she ate, she even ate the stem before I realized what she was doing. Lauren did a great job, she picked almost an entire bucket full of strawberries and then she found almost an entire bucket of rocks. All in all, we picked almost 8 pounds of strawberries. I made 10 jars of strawberry jam, and the rest we just ate. I love summer and all the fresh fruits and veggies!
