Happy Thanksgiving a day late. We had a great Thanksgiving and so much to be thankful for this year! Most especially our sweet baby Alison. Mum Mum, Uncle David and Blair arrived to our house around 10 AM, just in time for Mum Mum to help with the turkey, which turned out wonderfully. I mad twice baked potatoes, candy apple pie and cranberry salad on Wednesday. Rebecca and Bob arrived around 12 after sitting in some not so great traffice on the way up from DC. And we missed Glen being here to celebrate with us! Lauren had a great time playing with Blair while we got everything else ready. We ate around 3:30 and had all the usual yummy food that we always have for Thanksgiving. Yum, yum! And then we celebrated a little bit of Lauren's birthday, and she received Hungry, Hungry Hippos! She had a great time playing it and I think we have already lost a couple of the marbles....
We are thankful for all of our family and friends and we miss everyone we didn't see this holiday!
